The gleba is characterized by a color that varies from white to pink or light brown.
COLLECTION: In Umbria the White Truffle harvesting period is from 1st October to 31st December
PACKAGING AND SHIPPING: We ship fresh truffles in refrigerated polystyrene cartons to guarantee the best refrigerated conservation of the product in 24 hours.
STORAGE: The fresh truffle should be stored in the refrigerator at 0 ° -4 ° C wrapped one by one in absorbent paper and placed in a plastic or glass container, up to a maximum of 5 days. (Free recipe book)
METHOD OF CONSUMPTION: The fresh truffle can be consumed in various ways. It can be sliced directly on your favorite dishes, or grated and mixed with butter to prepare a sauce to season your creations.
OBSERVATIONS: Fresh truffles are sold already washed, however, we recommend washing and / or brushing them thoroughly before use. The presence of white spots on the skin is completely normal and can be easily removed by washing.
Size: The sizes vary from 5g to 10g with both whole and broken truffles.
